REHEARSALS

Monday 10 November  - Rehearsal at Ecole for all Ballet students only

Saturday 15 November - Rehearsal at Ecole for all students

Saturday 22 November - Full Dress Rehearsal at Ecole for all students

Sunday 23 November - Rehearsal at Ecole for all Ballet students only

Tuesday 25 November - Rehearsal at Glen Street Theatre, Belrose (check the Rehearsal schedule for specific arrival times). Wear your Ecole uniform

PERFORMANCE

Friday 28 November at Glen Street Theatre, Belrose at 7.00 pm. Refer to the map below.  Student arrival time, 4.30pm.

STUDENT ENTRY & EXIT TO THE THEATRE

Students are required to enter and exit the backstage area via the loading dock. There is no student access via the Foyer. Entry to the backstage area is via the left hand side of the building, next to the Oval. You will see our Ecole Banner.  This entry is to be used by Students on Tuesday 25 November for rehearsals and on Friday 28 November for the Performances.

TICKETS

Ticket sales are handled by Glen Street Theatre. Tickets will be on sale at 10am on Wednesday 5 November.

​

RECORDING

No photos or videos are allowed during the Performance. WinkiPop Media will be onsite to take photos during the Performance. These will be available to purchase several days later from their website. We will email details to families. Moving Pictures will be filming the Performance. A link to the recording of the Performance will be emailed to you a few weeks after the Performance.

COSTUMES

Costumes for the Senior School Performance are hired. Students are required to wear dance underwear/a body stocking under their costume. Bras and Briefs can be ordered from Ecole. The cut-off date for ordering is Wednesday 19 November.

 

Students should arrive at Glen Street Theatre in their Ecole Senior Show t-shirt with sneakers and Ecole or plain black bottoms. All of their costumes will be at the Theatre for them to change into. All costumes must be left at the Theatre at the end of the Performance.

 

Students should have all of their required dance shoes and tights for the rehearsal and performance. All Ballet students are required to have new theatrical pink tights, as well as a spare pair in their bag. 

​

No jewellery, including earrings or nail polish should be worn.

​

FINALE

All Students will wear their Ecole Senior Show t-shirt and either black Jazz shoes or white sneakers for the Finale. Students should arrive at the Theatre in their t-shirt. 

 

SHOES & OTHER ITEMS

Full details are listed  on "Hair & other items'. Please remember to pack all shoes required for your dances. All tights can be purchased via our online store or from the Office.

Ballet - shoes must be MDM or Bloch canvas ballet shoes and theatrical pink ballet tights

Jazz & Musical Theatre - black jazz shoes, tights TBA

Hip Hop - predominantly white sneakers and white crew length socks

Tap - black 'Tap on' Tap shoes from Bloch, tights TBA

Chorus Heels - Black chorus heels, tights TBA

Lyrical – Tights TBA

Acro – bare feet

HAIRSTYLES

Detailed information regarding hairstyles can be found by clicking on the 'Hair & other items' button. Hair ties should be the same colour as the child's hair. Gel and hairspray should be used to keep the hair tidy. Each student should have spare elastics, bun nets and bobby pins in their bag.

MAKE-UP

Senior School students are required to wear make-up for the performance. For further information, please click on the 'Make-up Kit'  button. This make-up kit should be brought to the Performance.
