Rachel Schmalz Holm
Rachel Schmalz is one of Sydney’s leading commercial performers. Having trained in all styles of dance from the age of 5 and working professionally for the last 23 years in all areas of the entertainment industry. She is in constant demand as a dancer, actor and model.
On stage, she was an original cast member of “Dein Perry’s Steel City”, which toured throughout Australia and Radio City Music Hall, New York, and later performed at Sadler’s Wells, London with “Tap Dogs Rebooted”. She performed in both the opening and closing ceremonies of the Sydney Olympics with Bootmen, Vanessa Amarossi and Kylie Minogue. Other stage performances include The Helpmann awards, People’s Choice awards, Sesame Street Live, Australia day Live and Dolly Teen Choice awards. On film, Rachel appeared in the feature films ‘Bootmen’, ‘The Makeover’ and ‘Happy Feet 2’. On TV, she has performed alongside performers such as Hoodoo Guru’s, Meatloaf, 30 Seconds to Mars, Marcia and Deni Hines, on Good Morning Australia, the NBC Today show USA, Pepsi Charts, the Footy Show, Australian Idol, Kathie Lee and Regis Show New York, MTV music awards as well as many more and also appeared on the US television series Farscape. You will also see her appearing on many TVC’s and in ad campaigns.
Rachel has returned recently from living and working in LA and most recently appeared for professional stint on “Dance Boss”.
