Dolce Fisher

Dolce just loves movement!

It all started with ballet class at the age of five, it continued into a career both on and offstage working as a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer. Some of her credits are with The New South Wales Ballet Company, BazMark Live & Fox Studios, Tanja Liedtke, Supple Nam, Sega World, Project Dance, the Bodies and Sydney Fringe Festival.

Dolce's career has allowed her to work both here in Australia and internationally in Singapore, New York and South Africa. In 2015 she was awarded a scholarship to  the Parsons Dance Company’s Choreography Workshop studying under the guidance of company director David Parsons and choreographer Kate Skarpetowska. She has been teaching across Sydney since 2001 across many different styles, gaining her Royal Academy of Dance Registered Teachers Status in 2005 but has always been most passionate about classical ballet and contemporary dance.

Outside of the dance studio Dolce has been a writer for online magazine Dance Informa since 2007, it has given her some wonderful opportunities to interview some of the industry’s best. She became part of the team behind the Victorian Dance Festival in 2017 and believes that it is a wonderful event where dancers, teachers and industry leaders can come to share dance, be nurtured but most of all celebrate dance!

Her passion for teaching also extends into the wellness space, teaching classes in yoga, barre, mat and reformer pilates. The knowledge gained from these other styles of movement allows her to assist her students in the studio to strengthen both their body and mind.
