Anika started her dance journey with Ballet in Hong Kong when she was 3 years old. She quickly discovered her passion for dance and has trained in Classical Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and Tap. She has completed her RAD Ballet Exams up to and including Advanced 1.

 

Anika joined Ecole when she was 10 years old and has been dancing at Ecole ever since. Anika represented Ecole in solo and group eisteddfods for five years. Throughout her senior years at school, Anika studied dance, music and drama. She has a love of performing, not only through dance, but with acting and singing as well.

This is Anika's third year teaching at Ecole, which she combines with her final year of Musical Theatre full-time studies at Brent Street in Sydney.

As a former Ecole student herself, Anika understands the Ecole ethos and hopes to inspire a younger generation of dancers and performers, the way she was inspired as a student at Ecole. Anika has a strong commitment to the performing arts in all forms and loves sharing her experience and passion for this with her students.
