Akane started dancing from a young age and has been at Ecole Ballet and Dance Theatre since the age of six. She has trained in Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap and Musical Theatre. She has completed her Royal Academy of Dance Advanced 1 classical examination, under the guidance of the Jane Allyn, Ashley Killar and Crystal Wong.

Since then, Akane has expanded her passion for the Arts in Musical Theatre and has graduated from the Academy of Music and Performing Arts with Bachelor of Music majoring in Musical Theatre in 2020. Akane has expanded her dance experience and has further fell in love with dance in 2021 when she completed the Training Program and Alumni Course at DUTI studios where she was exposed to more various dance styles. In 2022, she has completed her Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management with the Australian Dance Institute under Bonnie Sartori’s mentorship.
