Sally Egan

Sally grew up training at Ecole Ballet and Dance Theatre and the Jazz Factory. At 18 years of age she went on to study musical theatre fulltime at Brent Street Studios, before beginning a professional dance career overseas.

Sally spent 6 months in India where she danced in 13 Bollywood movies before successfully auditioning for “The Wiggles” where she toured as a dancer all over Australia and New Zealand. Sally then spent 5 years dancing all over the world for ‘Carnival Cruise Lines’ and ‘Princess Cruises’.
​
In 2012 Sally was selected for the inaugural casts of the Royal and Regal Princesses, where she was fortunate enough to work with acclaimed choreographers Danny Teeson (Robbie Williams,) Liz Imperio (J.Lo and Gloria Estefan) and Sekinah Lestage (Usher.)

In 2016, Sally completed her Royal Academy of Dance Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies. In 2016 and 2017 Sally was a faculty member at Newcastle Ballet Theatre where she taught open ballet, pointe, jazz and contemporary in their full time program.
Sally’s choreography credits include; Miss Country Girl Australia, Westfield Kotara Christmas show and Parade, Fast and Fresh choreographic finalist, The International Parkinson’s Disease Conference as well as flash mobs for clothing labels such as Peter Alexander, Dotti and Glue Store.

Sally is currently on contract with Princess Cruises, where she is thrilled to be dancing the “Falling Slowly” pas de deux in Al Blackstone’s Born to Dance in collaboration with Stephen Schwartz.
Sally cannot wait to return home to share her passion with the next generation of Ecole dancers.
